December fishing is off to a good start. We fished the humps and found plenty of nice blackfin tuna. They were a lot of fun using live cigar minnows and sardines on 20lb spinning tackle. We finished up on the reefs with some snappers and a bunch of small king mackerel.

12-7.  Had a large group today and decided to fish the humps. We had another great day fishing with live baitand light tackle. No other boats around and the action was non stop. Stopped at the reef on the way in and picked up small king mqackerel and 1 smoker king.

12-10  Great weekend of fishing. A little bit of everything, sails , blackfin tuna, snappers and some grouper. Hoping that the cold front turns on the grouper. Season ends Dec 31.

The reef fishing was great today. There were a lot of snappers and some large mutton snappers. Some days open in January. Come on day, escape the cold.

12-15

Weather kept us in yesterday, but we got out today with the kids. What a day. We went to the humps and kept the kids busy with the blackfin tuna. There were some big bait balls on the humps. Some wahoo , sails, Bonita and blackfin around. we ended up at the reef edge was real good in the morning.

12-18. What a day. Sometimes everything goes right . We were into the fish. A great day on live bait and light tackle. 3 nice Wahoo’s, 54, 48.26 lb., on light tackle and #3 wire. The blackfins were plentiful up to 30lbs. Released an amberjack and kept some nice mutton snappers. There also were some smoker king mackerel around.

What a week , it’s been. The weather has been horrible. 30knot winds and rough seas. Not able to get out much, but when we did the fish were there. We has asilfish, nutton snappers, king mackerel, snappers and an

African pompano.
