The team here at J&A Charters has logged more than 5000 days fishing in the Atlantic. In the Florida Keys alone, between the 4 of us we have spent somewhere over 3000 days on the water. In Ocean City the 2 of us have to have over 2000 days over the edge. So again rest assured we know what we are doing and we are happy to teach you anything. Myself and the Captains and crew who work with me, want to catch fish worse than you do. We fish like it’s our job, because it is our job! We do this for a living, not just to get by and fish on weekends just to pay our slip fees and insurance… NO we have families to support just like our clients. We ALL understand how hard it is to part with what little we have so feel safe that you are getting everything and more when you settle up at the end of your fishing experience.

Born and raised in south Florida, I have been fishing Florida waters since 1976. I moved to the Keys in 2000 and started fishing professionally in 2004. Father of 4 children: my oldest son is a rescue swimmer in the Navy, I also have a 8 yo daughter, a 7 yo son and a 4 yo daughter. Prior to fishing I was a golf professional for ten years and still try to play for fun on a regular basis. I enjoy both offshore and inshore fishing. My two favorite fish to catch are sailfish and mutton snappers. I started my fishing career on a party boat and continued to running charter and private fishing boats over the last 7 years.
