Capt. Andrew Reports:

Stopped on the bait patch first thing on the way out, the cigar minnows were super thick. Moved over to another spot on the reef for yellowtails in 42 feet of water and they bit very well the charter caught 20 or so nice ones.

We decided a shot at dolphin were in the cards so we ran out 16 miles to about 750 feet of water where we heard on the VHF they were biting, Soon we found a few small schools of fish and caught a few, ran into one big school of nice big schoolies and caught a bunch. They would only eat the live baits and were very finicky about that. So if your heading out make sure you bring plenty of livies. Was super hot at that point so we headed home with a stop in shallow for some swimming.
