Captain Jeff Oughton had the 33cc out today the target was Mahi Mahi. Today was slightly overcast and a little cool for the keys. Scattered showers kept everyone on alert for a passing shower. 2 to 4ft seas had the grass scattered and broken up with no big mats as the boats had encountered earlier this week. That couldn’t stop Captain Jeff on his mission.
He deployed a spread of naked and skirted Ballyhoo he found about a dozen or so nice dolphin in the 10lb range for his 3/4 day charter. Most fish were found in singles and no real bird activity. Most birds would have a single fish under them.
Jeff was fishing just to the north of the humps. If your heading to the keys or already here give us a call and we can get you in on some great fishing action
