Hope all enjoyed a Happy Holiday and are all geared up for the New Year this weekend! Sure has been a wonderful few days down here in the Keys, sunny and warm moderate winds and pretty good conditions over all. Over the last few days Both the “Pretty Work” and “That’s Right” have enjoyed some great family fun. The groups have enjoyed some pretty active fishing. We have enjoyed some real nice King Mack fishing as well as plenty of Ciro’s inshore. The Gulf Stream has been pushed in pretty tight to the reef edge . The water is purple, it’s beautiful. Monday there were quite a few Dolphin coming by as well as some Wahoos. The Sailfishing has been slow, plenty of fish coming through but very tough to get them to bite.

The deep water wreck’s have been holding some real nice fish, Black groupers and some Mutton Snappers. We only have a few days left before the Grouper fishing is closed till May. The shallower patches have also been hold some great action with plenty of Red Groupers and Black Groupers, both keepers and throw backs. The Mangrove snappers have been supplying plenty of bites, as well as the Yellowtails. There’s been plenty of bait which has helped, Cigar minnows and ballyhoo’s. The Cero’s just rip the Hoo’s up, some real great bite’s and pretty good fight on 10lb. We shall see what the next few days bring.

Back Country has been excellent with some real nice fish and a great variety. Snook, Tarpon, reds, trout, you name it they have been on the chew.
