As some of you know and have been following us this year! Capt. Ron from Pirate for Hire has joined us as our Back Country/Flats specialist.
One of the many things Capt Ron loves to fish for is the many species of Sharks that call the waters of Islamorada their hunting grounds. One of the really cool things about shark fishing down here is you don’t necessarily need the big sportfishing boats to target some really big sharks. Capt. Ron fishes with the 18′ flats or the 21′ Bay Boat as he is fishing in relatively shallow water. This makes it cost affective for those fishing alone or with a party up to 3.
Kids and Sharks! Nothing fascinates kids on the water more than sharks. From a small nurse shark on up to bull sharks of several hundred pounds they come in all sizes on our Back Country trips!
