Fishing, and especially fishing with Kids is one thing we love to do. Fishing in the Keys with Kids is especially fun as there is almost always something willing to bite a hook. Being that “That’s right is capable of carrying up to 20 ppl we often get involved with the local schools and youth programs to take Kid’s out on the water for the day.
We have had a fair share of Private Charters as well as the season is heating up. The Sailfish have shown in good numbers with the ever increasing Cold Fronts showing up to get them turned on. Grouper fishing has been really Good as well as fine snapper fishing as well.
Capt John Reports:
Well it’s been awfully wind but yet warm and sunny!! The Sail fish have been coming through with some good numbers. Plenty of real small fish, meaning 5 to 15 pounds!! Lots of fun on 12lb tackle. There has been plenty of bait so far, Ballyhoos and Cigar minnows. The Reef fishing has also started to be rather productive, with plenty of nice Yellow tails and some pretty darn good Grouper fishing. We have also encountered some Dolphins along the reef edge due to plenty of East wind.
Both “That’s Right” and “Pretty Work” are in full swing now and looking forward to a great fall and winter. “That’s Right” will be in Bimini for the next week and “Pretty Work” will be holding down the fishing here in Islamorada. If you are fed up with the crappy weather up North give us a shout we have some great deals between now and Xmas!! Hope to hear from you all soon! Tight Lines, Capt. John
