The fishing has been fantastic when the weather allows as its been a bit windy. We have had some great families with kids recently. We broke some kids in on some fun Amberjacks and had them up to 80lbs, weighed as much as some of the kids. Most averaged in the 40 to 50 lb range. The mahi have been really consistent with some nice fish and a few big ones mixed in. The countdown is on for the opening of grouper season on may 1st as we are a week away. If you love grouper you need to get down here and catch them up as we have been releasing a lot every trip
Capt Jeff has been on bronze gold in the back fishing the light tackle. Red drum, trout and some nice snook have been screaming the drags. The tarpon fishing has been improving as well as we have tangled with a few as well.
