It was our pleasure once again to have John Boehner and his staff for a day of fishing in the Key’s. We had plenty of action to keep them busy. The King Mackerel, Cero Mackerel made a fine showing along with a couple of Mahi and Albies off the reef. Than we decided to move in on the reef and released a few grouper and had a nice catch of Yellow tail snapper and a few Mangrove snapper.
Fishing has been going very well. Sails have been pretty consistent no huge numbers but it has been good when conditions are right. We have also found some decent Mahi and Blackfin Tuna as well. The mackerels have made a very good showing and keep the rods screaming. Bottom fishing has been good on mangroves and yellow tails with a few Muttons mixed in as well. We’ve been releasing some nice groupers as well.
The Winter season has just got under way and we have plenty of open spots moving forward. Give us a call.
