I read something the other day that Florida was the only State in the country that had no snow landed in it! The nicest weather is in the Keys!

Capt John Reports:

Been to long…. sorry about that. The fishing down here has been spotty as of late. Most of the days bring hard work and moving around. Why? The water for the most part has been gin clear and little to no current. Pretty yes and the weather has been fabulous. We have been picking away at the Sail fish and there are some days the Cobia have popped up for the tower boats looking in the sand. The 120 to 200 foot spots have struggled to help us out. There have been some King Mack’s and a few nice Mutton Snappers lurking about. The Reef has produced with some slow trolling, nice Yellowtails and some large Mangrove Snappers. The Patch fishing has also help to produce some nice catches of Yellowtail Snapper and on some days good Cero Mackerel fishing. There have been some Groupers let go along the way, mostly Black’s and Red’s. We have also enjoyed some time on the Barracuda grounds and having some super action with fish up to 25lb’s!

Spring is right around the corner and we hope to see you soon!

Capt Aaron reports the “Pretty Work has been catching some sails as well along with some decent Kings Off the reef. He has been finding Tails and muttons as well to have the charters taking home a few meals. The grouper releases are always there as well. To round out the days he has been going over to the tower to grab a few Cuda’s for the kids who love the toothy critters
