Capt. Andrea The A in J & A Charters took the helm on a day trip for sails and fishing the reef. Fall in the Keys can be down right beautiful and that’s how it has been.

Capt John Reports:

Well we took advantage of another perfect day. Capt. Andrea ran the “Pretty Work” today and she did a super job! Capt Andrea put the gang on the Yellowtail Snappers first and it was pretty much non stop till we had our limit and off we went. She then moved use over to the Eagle wreck in hopes to find a Sailfish or two. After about 40 minutes up a pair came, both on the long riggers, both choosing the Ballyhoos over the Cigar minnows on the flat lines. We got a good chance on one the other faded out on us. Had my father and his long time buddy Paul with us, who did a great job catching and releasing the one. Capt. Andrea gave it another 30 minutes there and Capt. Andrea and I jumped up in the tower and rode the side for awhile in hopes to find some bait showers or a Sail or two swimming in the sand. Notta!! Oh well it was a short day and home we went, nice job to Capt Andrea who did a great job getting out and back in the slip perfect and putting us on fish!
