The week finished out nicely!! Happy New Year!! Well both the “Pretty Work” and “That’s Right” finished the week with lots of action. We found some real nice Mutton Snappers in the deep water. We also were able to find several fat Black Groupers a few Red’s and a 12lb Scamp. Pretty good way to end the year and the season!! The mackerels are starting to bite better, fish ranging anywhere from 8lb to 30lbs all on live bait and 20lb Spinning gear, what a fight!! The Yellow tails were a little tough, had poor anchoring condition, wind against tide. We did mange thou plenty for dinner and the mangrove snapper made a great appears on a few of the shallow patch’s. The Sailfishing has been a little slow, seeing fish but they just don’t want to eat, we manged to get one today while mackerel fishing. there’s even been a nice showing of some Cobia the last few days. the weather has helped with that lite winds and clean water, does the trick every time. Oh ya and Ocean City’s Striper fishing has really picked up the “Lucky Break” had 4 fish over 38″ today so if your still looking to get out there and catch the Stripers give us a call!
